Kind and friendly hostess Debbie, cool antiques, reminded me of some places I'd stayed in Europe with their quaint cozy rooms. Nice place to stay on our fall foliage trip to Letchworth State Park, plus a stop at Niagara Falls. Renovations are nearly complete, then likely will be 5 stars. Have you ever heard of a bicycle built for SEVEN?!?!
This place, although a bit antiquated, was one of the best places I've stayed at in the hospitality/service industry. They live by the mi casa es tu casa mentality and, while you're staying away from home, definitely feels like you're crashing in the spare bedroom of a family member. Debbie took us through a whole tour of the in, showed us the social spaces and welcomed us to use the kitchen if we needed it and basically had the inn to ourselves to make ourselves right at home. What a hidden gem run by some great people
Made a reservation 3 months in advance. Not only did we get a room where we couldn't even hang up a washcloth but were charged 34 dollars more than our quote.
Historic house, great cheaper option for people who like something different. Nice friendly owners. It's a bit old school, but I love it! Lovely decor, very traditional. It's quite spooky to explore during dark, when we came - prior to the weekend and no guests were there. They have a really cool conference bike (bike with 7 seats which was so much fun!)
